FAQ
1. Do I have to clean up after my session?
Yes. Since we do not invoke or require an additional cleaning fee, photographers are required to clean up their space once the session is completed. Staple cleaning supplies will be offered and available at your convenience. However, styled seasonal sets are cleaned up by staff members!
2. Can I feed the animals?
We kindly ask that you do not feed our animals.
3. Is smoking, vaping or use of alcohol allowed?
Project Ten Fifteen does not allow the use of alcohol, smoking or vaping on our property. Thank you for adhering to this stipulation. Champagne pops and toasts are allowed only upon request.
4. Where can I park?
Each set is unique in their location at Project Ten Fifteen. Parking and driveway entrances will be given in full detail to the photographer upon booking. Please be mindful of children and animals when entering the property.
5. Will my photos be used by Project Ten Fifteen?
Yes! Please share your photos with us. We would love to promote your photographers talent and help them grow! If you do NOT wish for your photos to be shared by or with our venue, you will need to inform your photographer.
6. I’m not a photographer but I would love to use your venue. How can I book?
For the time being, our venue is geared towards offering creative sets to photographers and videographers only. Please reach out to a photographer to book with us! However, we do have high hopes to offer our property occasionally to the public in the near future with BYOC (bring your own camera). These dates will be provided on our website’s event page and social media.
7. How many hours should I book?
When picking your hours, please include your setup and tear-down time. If you are shooting an hour photo shoot and it takes 10-15 minutes to set up, it could take 10-15 minutes to tear down. That leaves you with 30-40 min for your session. Adding an extra hour is better to ensure you or your client are not feeling rushed. Your studio session ends at the time you selected in your booking. Please make sure to have everything back in place before your time ends. Aside from seasonal styled mini sets, if you are booking property or greenhouse time and need a little extra time setting up/tearing down, please contact us and we will take it case by case.
All “mini session” seasonal styled shoots (i.e. easter bunnies and chicks set) are already styled and set up for you. You will only need to plan accordingly to minimally clean up at the end of your booking time. If there is no one after you and available time, you can request 30 min increments.
8. What is the ambassador program? How can I join?
This program is an opportunity for photographers to sample + capture new sets as well as have their work featured on our website and/or social media. Responsibilities include: signing up for your preferred set, editing promptly and sharing your captured stock images with Project Ten Fifteen. In return, ambassadors will get a free time slot with the same preferred mini session at our venue! Ambassadors are seasonal and will be on a rotating schedule throughout the year to give everyone an opportunity to share their talent. All communication will be initiated through email and once accepted, ambassadors will be added into our private facebook page. Please email us to inquire!
9. Is the property wheel chair accessible?
Please keep in mind this is farmland and we do not have any paved pathways at this time. The greenhouse is on level ground and is easily accessible for wheel chairs. Our ground across the property is uneven terrain so please make plans for getting from your vehicle to your shoot location.
10. Are there restrooms on the property?
At this time, there are no accessible restrooms on our property.
11. Are animals allowed on the property?
Due to our property being a working farm with free range animals, no outside animals will be permitted onto Project Ten Fifteen’s property.
12. Do you have changing rooms?
At this time, there are no changing rooms on our property.
13. Is glitter, confetti, smash cake, self tanner, etc. allowed on property?
If you're planning to have items that will require excessive clean up, please communicate details with Project Ten Fifteen staff prior to your session. If these items are used in the greenhouse, cleaning supplies will be provided. We kindly request that you clean up after yourself and avoid smashing cake or using glitter/confetti near the furniture to prevent any possible mess and cleaning fee. While these items are easier to use outdoors, please be mindful of the animals and ensure a proper clean up.
Please be mindful of makeup and body paint. If your client is planning on tanning or using body paint, please make sure they do not sit on furniture freshly sprayed with tanning solution.
14. What happens if my shoot is cancelled due to the weather?
Unfortunately being an outdoor venue, weather happens. We will put our best foot forward to move all sessions into our greenhouse to accommodate you and your clients. If this option is not possible due to pre-booked sessions we will reach out to you about rescheduling. If your session is cancelled by Project Ten Fifteen, you will be given an opportunity to rebook with us on a later date without a fee or given a full refund.
